Incyte Genomics to Report Third Quarter 2002 Financial Results on November 12

PALO ALTO, CA, October 31, 2002 - Incyte Genomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: INCY), announced today that it will report third quarter fiscal year 2002 financial results on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 after the close of the stock market.

Incyte's senior management will host a conference call on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. PST to discuss the company's third quarter 2002 financial results and recent activities.
