Many professional development opportunities are organized by department. The E.D.G.E. (Empowerment, Development, Growth, Engagement) Program connects and empowers Incyte employees on the U.S. Business Team with seminars, networking opportunities featuring internal and external leaders, mentorship opportunities and more.

In the U.S., Leadership Development Training is provided to managers who are new to Incyte, employees who were recently promoted to managers and individuals who have been identified as potential leaders. Additionally, classes in presentation skills and emotional intelligence are offered, and the Insights Discovery Workshop helps improve internal and external communication.

In Europe, managers are eligible for selection to participate in a training program with multiple modules in various focus areas. The Team Effectiveness Workshop helps improve communication, accountability, decision-making and overall performance. The Insights Discovery Workshop seeks to improve internal and external communication and always draws a crowd. Finally, the Challenge Academy encourages employees to take on challenging projects and supports them in doing so.
